About Us

FinanzTool is a free collection of financial calculators and live market tools in five languages: English (US and UK), German, Spanish and Persian. It has been online since 2025 and is run by Omid Jamshidi.

Who is behind FinanzTool?

Omid Jamshidi runs FinanzTool as an independent website: it does not belong to a bank, insurer, broker or financial adviser. The full name and postal address are in the Legal Notice.

Omid Jamshidi is responsible for every calculator and every text on the site and reviews each tool before it is published. The top of every tool page shows who reviewed it and when.

How we keep the numbers right

• Every calculator uses a documented formula, explains it on the page and shows a worked example that you can check by hand.
• Tools that depend on tax rules name the tax year and their official sources. The salary calculator, for example, follows the 2026 rules published by the IRS, GOV.UK, the German Income Tax Act and the Spanish tax agency.
• Live data comes from named sources: the euro reference rates of the European Central Bank, live prices from the Kraken exchange, Bitcoin block data from mempool.space and blockstream.info, and headlines from the news outlets listed on the news page.

Your data and how the site is paid for

You do not need an account, and we do not store the numbers you type into the calculators (details in our Privacy Policy). The tools are free because FinanzTool is financed by advertising and a few referral links. Both are clearly marked and kept apart from the content; no advertiser can influence a calculation or a result.
